CASUAL USERS–CALENDAR VIEWING ONLY
Generally speaking, CSC posts special family-friendly events. Such events would not include regularly held meetings such as church services, unless such services contained a special occurrence, such as that consisting mostly of music, a meal, a picnic, and/or games/activities. If you have any questions, you may email WebMaster1@Community-Server.com . Please include your name & VOICE phone# (no texts).
CSC is intuitive and doesn’t require much instruction to use if you want to just view our calendar. The Events Calendar is publicly viewable, no sign-up required. To access the CSC Event Calendar near you, simply enter the following into your browser’s URL address bar: “http://”, then the name of the major city near you, followed by: “.community-server.com/”. Example for Orlando, FL: http://orlando.community-server.com/ . If CSC currently has a website for that city, it will then be displayed in your browser. If CSC doesn’t currently have a website for your city, and you have events you want to post for your city, you may contact WebMaster1@Community-Server.com to request CSC to set up a site for your local community. Include the name & voice phone# of the person who will be posting.
Once you’re in the CSC monthly events calendar, click on the blue links for individual event details. The Individual Event Details page provides further details about the Location, Building, Personnel, link(s) to the posting venue’s website, types of events usually featured, and other key information about the Location.
When viewing individual events, you’ll see a blue Location link near the top of the page. If you find a location you frequently attend, you can click on that location to see all its Upcoming Events.
If you wish to post events, click the link in the Top Menu “How To Post Your Events”. If you have any suggestions about ALLOWED events you wish to see posted other than those listed in How To Post Your Events, we welcome your email to WebMaster1@Community-Server.com . Include the name & voice phone# of the person who will be posting.
Users of the site are encouraged to report the following:
Venues that post events as “free”, but require a mandatory “donation”, the purchase of an event “discount” coupon, and/or any other consideration required to gain entrance to the venue’s event. Such events will be removed, and those venues will be barred from posting to CSC. For each city and state CSC events are posted in, the Municipality, State Division of Consumer Affairs, State Department of Revenue, and IRS have very specific rules regarding the differences between truly free charity events and paid events.;
Posted events that are offensive or do not meet posting criteria as set forth in TCUS or any other of CSC’s policies;
ANY content found on CSC that does not conform to generally accepted standards of etiquette or common decency.
CSC thanks you for visiting and helping to keep CSC a family-friendly community.
